The first aim of this research is to study the factors that affect the growth of small and medium category of farmers. The second aim is the use of the strategic Studies to promote small and medium enterprises producing agricultural products in Kaisonphomvihan district Savannakhet province Laos. The subjects used in the study are entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises of agricultural production. Besides that, staff government and consumers were also interviewed from Kaisonphomvihanh, Savannakhet province with the samples of all 172 operators. Among these samples there are 75 business entrepreneurs who grow vegetables. Large numbers of 97 people make pieces and carpets in town. During the gathering of data, they were totally 20 specialized staffs came from the Department of Industry and Commerce to enhance the farmers for piece making. Since last five years, it was found that the registration number of business increased dramatically.
Data analysis was done by the help of computer program such as SPSS package using the statistical average, percentage, and standard deviation.
The study found that factors affecting the business. Agriculture, small and medium enterprises are as the followings: (1) There is an impact on the market overall, the level of production regarding market demand. This shows that the productivity of cultivated sometimes is inadequate to the needs of the market. (2) The impact of the financial bringing the own capital into the production, and this causes a cost savings and leads to the inefficient output. (3) The highest level of labor is based on the amount of family. It means that they did use to hire someone else. (4) There is lack of outside cooperation because the producers never ask the help from others services. (5) Before the beginning of production, we should analyze the market carefully in order to get the reasonable and fair output prices. (6) The conventional production in agriculture has to be promoted especially the Farming project for Farmers should be engaged in agriculture spending by research institutions and agricultural farming system. Since farmers could be involved in all stages of implementation.
